Screen Capture Software
As with almost any software on the market, available screen recording software is commercial or free, open source or proprietary source. It is really difficult to single out the best screen capture software because there are five or six players with relatively equal features and they fall into the same price range but the list below is an attempt to review them in brief and in addition to them to list other good products.
Among the commercial screencasting products the leaders are Camtasia Studio, BB FlashBack, Macromedia Captivate, Qarbon ViewletCam, and Snapz Pro X 2.0.2 (for Mac OS). Free (or low-priced shareware products, like Replay) screen recording programs that deserve attention are CamStudio, Wink and Windows Media Encoder.
